Footballer Karim Gazzetta commits Suicide in Mostar

Shocking news comes from Mostar. A big tragedy in Bosnia and Herzegovina after twenty seven years old football player Karim Gazzetta committed suicide this morning.

The Swiss football player, who arrived in Zrinjski this summer, committed suicide, it was confirmed for the portal Klix.ba.

This tragic news was confirmed by the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, HNK Ljudevit Marić.

Gazzetta committed suicide by jumping from the eighth floor of a building in Kneza Višeslava Street. This morning, the Mostar police department conducted an investigation at the scene of the accident.

The 27-year-old Swiss football player who arrived in our country from Xamax in July, and his arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina is his first foreign engagement because he built his career exclusively in Switzerland.

This season, Gazzetta played only one game for Zrinjski in the Premier League, and then faced an injury that kept him out for the rest of the half-season.

The Swiss arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a big reinforcement, but he arrived injured, so he waited until October for his first appearance. Zrinjski coach Sergej Jakirović emphasized that this is an extremely talented football player, but as soon as he recovered from his injury, he experienced a new one and the half-season was over for him.

More information about the great tragedy will be known soon, and a reaction from the club, which is the current champion of our country, is also expected.

Gazzetta was once considered one of the greatest talents of Swiss football. He played for all youth national teams of Switzerland.

He started his career in Servette, and also played for Winterthur, Lausanne and Xamax.
