The president of the entity Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik (SNSD) is purchasing a passenger car worth 270.000 BAM without VAT with citizens’ money. Including VAT, it is about 316 thousand BAM.

As stated in the tender documentation, the vehicle must have ventilation and massage of the front seats, a refrigerator, and a TV. The requested color is metallic black, and the interior of the vehicle must also be black.

It was further stated that the front seats must be electrically adjustable with memory.

It is also stated that the contract will be concluded with the bidder who offers the lowest price and that it is an open procedure. The deadline for receiving offers is June 12th, 2023.

In the second LOT, three more vehicles are being purchased, with a total value of 200 thousand BAM.

This means that more than half a million BAM will be allocated for the purchase of four cars, including VAT.

When he is not in his luxury car, Dodik flies in a helicopter also at the expense of taxpayers.

The budget of the president of this entity in October last year was increased from 11 to even 56 million BAM. The increasewas mostly related to expenditures for the use of goods and services from 7.2 to 52.6 million BAM.

It should be recalled that the RS must repay 1.2 billion BAM in loans this year, and the first tranche of around 300 million is due in June. However, none of this prevents the ruling regime in the RS from spending freely and fulfilling its wishes.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), at the end of the third quarter of 2022, the RS entity has about 6.2 billion BAM in public debt, Klix.ba reports.
