For how much is Tito’s Villa in New York being sold?

One of the oldest New York villas is sold for 50 million U.S. Dollars. The villa has a symbolic history behind it and was built in 1905. Yugoslavia bought it in 1946 and at that time was used by President Josip Broz Tito.

Tito’s 418-square-meter luxury apartment is located on the 16thfloor of a building on New York’s Park Avenue.

The money from the penthouse sale at New York’s Park Avenue, bought by the former Yugoslav authorities in 1975, will be shared among the former Yugoslav republics.

Josip Broz Tito stayed in the apartment sometimes and it was also the residence for Yugoslav representations in the UN.

This luxury property has a panoramic view of New York with three balconies, five bathrooms and four bedrooms, and a magnificent lobby with stairs leading to the living room with a terrace and a fireplace. In the penthouse, there is a living room with a library and rooms for service and laundry.

Also for sale is a duplex where nobody has lived for more than 20 years, so the apartment is currently in a devastated state. This explains why the agency that is selling it published only two photos, one of the terrace and one of the buildings in which the apartment is located.

This residence has 32 rooms, eight bathrooms and two elevators.
