In premises of Gazi Husrev Bey’s Hanikah, the French Institute in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) hosted the exhibition of “The Postcards of Paris” by Mirsada Kadribasic and Katarina Matic-Zilic.
Twenty works are exhibited and were inspired by the author’s travel to France capital Paris. Through their photos, artists wanted to express their fascination of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
The exhibition was opened by Ambassador of France to Bih, Guillome Rousson, who said that the exhibition was devoted entirely to Paris “which is a dream of the whole generation of young artists from all over the world.”
“The postcards of Paris represent scenes and characters from everyday life, with great richness of colors and contents. Ten works by Mirsada Kadribasic represent a story of the present, the story of relationships, relations and communication. Katarina Matic-Zilic uses different techniques – coal, pastel, watercolor, acrylic … to find the expression for every sight she sees and which fascinates her. “Rousson said.
The exhibition will be open until November 10th, and after Sarajevo, the exhibition will be presented in Mostar, Banja Luka, Doboj and Maglaj.
