For the protection of 28 national monuments in BiH, Government of FBiH will give 300,000 BAM

Acting Minister of Physical Planning Adnan Efendic signed today in Sarajevo agreements on co-financing of projects related to the protection of national monuments.

Money for this purpose is provided from budget of FBiH in amount of 300,000 BAM. Twenty eight projects, 12 Islamic religious building, four Catholic and four Orthodox religious buildings, six object from the category of old towns and two objects from the category of necropolis with stećci (medieval Bosnian tombstones) will receive the money from the project.

The Commission for the Protection of National Monuments of BiH declared those monuments of national importance, and there were 51 application for the project related to the protection of national monuments.

Efendic announced that in 2013 there will be a data base of all objects that need rehabilitation.
