After the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina gave its consent, Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Director Milica Markovic will sign memoranda of cooperation with representatives of the Investment Office of the Presidency of Turkey and the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency.

The Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey is a state institution for the promotion of investment opportunities in Turkey and for providing assistance to investors before, during and after their arrival in Turkey.

The aim of signing the memorandum of cooperation with FIPA is to improve investment cooperation, establish direct contacts between businessmen and investors, create favorable conditions for economic growth and organize high-level visits for state institutions, private and public companies and other relevant actors in economic relations.

FIPA and HEPA (Hungarian Export Promotion Agency) will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation on the allocation of grants to Hungarian companies investing in BiH.

The Government of Hungary has formed the Investment Program of the Western Balkans, which implies the allocation of non-refundable financial resources to Hungarian companies that want to invest in the Western Balkans region.

FIPA will analyze and evaluate each nominated project, using as some of the criteria the business indicators of Hungarian companies nominating the project, then the significance of the project for BiH and financial analysis of the project, FIPA stated in a press release on Monday.
