Formal Promotion and Award Ceremony held for 5,161 Students in Sarajevo

A formal promotion and award ceremony for the University of Sarajevo (UNSA) graduates and undergraduates took place on Saturday in “Juan Antonio Samaranch” Sarajevo Hall.

Special honors were also presented at the ceremony, including the University of Sarajevo Gold and Silver Badge and the Sarajevo University Charter.

UNSA Rector Rifat Skrijelj, along with the Vice-Rectors of the University of Sarajevo and deans of faculties and academies, promoted 5,161 graduate and master’s degrees.

A total of 192 most successful first and second cycle students of study programs received special honors. Of these, 56 students received the Gold Badge, 128 were awarded with silver, and eight were awarded with the Charter. The most successful second cycle student with an average of 10 is Abdulah Jasarevic from the Faculty of Science (PMF).

Successful students are Amna Muhamedovic from the Faculty of Law, Ajdin Palavric from the Faculty of Law and Damir Medunjanin, also from the Faculty of Law, all with an average grade of 10, Avaz.ba news portal reports.
