Former Prime Minister of Malysia visited Sarajevo School of Science and Technology

premijerThe former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahatmir bih Mohamad visied yesterday the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST)

The Dean of the University Ganić, professors and students awaited him.

“Science and technology has immeasurable value in the development of every country. You see how the world of technology is rapidly changing. Your university already greatly contributes to science and technology. It is an honor for me to be here today’’, said Mahatmir.

The Dean of the University Ejup Ganić said that Mahatmir is one of the first state representatives in the world who supported the establishment of SSST and supported the efforts for SSST to develop based on the model of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US.

In 2006 SSST awarded Mahatmir an honorary professorship for his excellent contribution to the development of peace, stability, economic development and social harmony in one of the most ethnically and religiously plural countries in Asia’’, announced SSST.
