Forto: EBU Representatives do not understand why BiH has not paid its Obligations for so long

Representatives of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) do not understand that Bosnia and Herzegovina has not paid its obligations for a long time, and that they have no special interest in the political context in BiH.

“They are focused on collecting the money,” said Forto in the special show “Ne gasite BHRT”.

he says he explained to them that it would be ‘ironic’ if they shut down BHRT by blocking the account.

“I hope this has reached them. They said that they will present the facts at the board meeting and that they will focus more on taking the assets and not blocking the accounts,” he explained.

He added that the topic of BHRT was often discussed at the Council of Ministers, but that he failed to produce a consensus to help BHRT financially.

“This is a question of a political nature because everyone has their own vision of non-enforcement of the law. I have in mind the importance of BHRT and the hundreds of people whose existence is threatened… I will continue the fight,” said Forto.
