trebinje_2016The foundation stone for a new hotel and tourist complex “Trebinje Sun Gardens” was laid yesterday in Mile, on the lookout above Trebinje. Foundation stone was laid by investor from Italy, Vladimir Andjelic from Trebinje and Mayor of Trebinje Slavko Vucurevic. The value of the complex “Trebinje Sun Gardens” in the first phase amounted to 1,000,000 EUR and it will include the construction of restaurant and a hotel with specific capacities that will be extended in the second phase. Completion of the first phase is planned for July 2016.

“In the second phase, we want to make a big hotel complex with swimming pool with our partners from Russia and Italy, and the plan is, as much as it is possible on the ground, to build sports, especially tennis courts. We want this complex to be a mirror of the city,” said the investor.

The mayor of Trebinje Slavko Vucurevic, who supported the initiative of building Trebinje Sun Gardens from the beginning, said that the complex, according to conceptual design of the project and its location (lookout over Trebinje), will be one of the most attractive objects in the city and that it will certainly improve tourist offer, and open new space for employment of citizens of Trebinje.

“New object, new tourist offer, new workplaces and confirmation that Trebinje aims and is a tourist center and that the interest of investors to invest in our city is bigger every day,” said Vucurevic.

“I invite other citizens of Trebinje who are now abroad to invest the capital in their city, and our city administration will give full support to any project for the benefit of the city and citizens of Trebinje,” said Vucurevic.
