In this morning’s action by the Federal Police Administration (FUP), together with the assistants of the head of Hadžibajrić, Adela Plakalo, Aldiana Kavazović and Adis Hadžović, the municipal attorney of the Municipality of Stari Grad, Enes Smajlović, was arrested.
As announced by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo, on the order of the acting prosecutors, the continuation of the action codenamed Start began early this morning.
“Searches are underway in the Municipality of Stari Grad. During the day, three assistant chiefs and a public defender will be brought to the FUP premises and will be interrogated by the acting prosecutors, after which more details will be known, as well as their identity,” it was announced from CS Prosecutor’s Office.
We remind you that regarding the arrested assistants of Hadžibajrić, Aldiana Kavazović is employed in the Municipality of Stari Grad as assistant mayor for the economy, and Adis Hadžović as assistant mayor for investments and communal affairs.
Adela Plakalo is assistant to the chief for property-legal, geodetic affairs and cadastre and housing affairs.
As part of the Start campaign conducted at the beginning of May, apart from Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, Elmedin Karišik, Seid Hadžibajrić and Alma Destanović were also arrested.
They are accused of organized crime, abuse of position, receiving and giving gifts, and money laundering. They were sentenced to one month’s detention.
