Fourteen Persons arrested for Narcotic Drug Production and Trafficking

Police of Republika Srpska, arrested 14 people and seized about 300 grams of marijuana, 10 grams of heroin, 24 milliliters of liquid methadone, four guns, money in the amount of about 2,000 BAM and about 2,400 euros, in an action codenamed “Cage”, was confirmed to Fena news agency by a spokeswoman of RS Ministry of Interior Danica Gnjatovic.

Digital scales for precision measurement, crushers for marijuana, mobile phones, and SIM cards were seized as well.

Unofficially, Savo Colic, Dragan Narancic, Lora Glusica, Branimir Marsenic, Bojan Mudrinic, Goran Mirkovic, Radovan Stankovic, Vinko Djuric, Vladimir Malic, Marija Bujak, Milorad Zurnic, Milenko Samardzic, Mladinko Malic and Marko Miljevic were deprived of their liberty.

The “Cage” action was carried out with the aim of breaking up an organized criminal group involved in drug production and trafficking. Searches were carried out at 11 locations in Banja Luka, Zvornik, Bijeljina and Doboj.

The action is carried out by police officers of the MOI Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime in cooperation with the officers of the police departments of Banja Luka, Zvornik, Bijeljina and Doboj, as well as members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit and Gendarmerie.
