Police officers of the Federal Police Administration carry out measures and actions under their jurisdiction under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, as part of the operational-tactical campaign “Saving”.
On this occasion, orders to search persons and property are executed at five locations, namely in the area of Sarajevo Canton, Zenica-Doboj canton and Central Bosnian Canton.
As part of the activities in question, a search is carried out in the official premises of the Federal Ministry of Finance in Sarajevo.
“During the same activities, two suspects were deprived of their liberty as part of the investigation that the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton is conducting regarding the illegality of actions taken during the payment of old foreign currency savings, while the suspects are suspected of committing the crimes of ‘Abuse of position or authority’ and ‘Assistance’,” the FPA announced.
Arrested persons will be criminally processed in the premises of the Federal Police Administration, and questioned by the acting prosecutor and subject investigators.
