During the reception for the new ambassador of B&H to France, Ivan Orlić, the French president François Hollande said that B&H is not only a safe country but also legally secure for the French businessman to do work in B&H. – was stated at the Ministry of foreign affairs of B&H.
Hollande said that France is absolutely ready to support B&H on its path to Euro-Atlantic Integrations, independently of the challenges that will come along and pointed out that he is aware of the difficulties and responsibilities the B&H’s institutions encounter in that context. – was stated in the communication.
Orlić thanked Hollande for the support France is giving B&H. He emphasized that B&H considers the Euro-Atlantic integrations as its political priority.
Orlić also thanked the government and the people of France on their help and leadership while organizing the international donors conference for B&H and Serbia after the floods in May.
He stated with regret that the economic cooperation between B&H and France is insufficient and among other things, proposed the opening of the airline Sarajevo – Paris as well as the possibility of some French commercial banks to participate at restructuring the bank market in B&H.
In the communication was also stated that Hollande entirely agreed with Orlić when it comes to economic cooperation and assessed B&H as a safe field for business engagements.
