At the General Hospital “Prim.dr: Abdulah Nakaš” in Sarajevo, for hundreds of Sarajevo residents older than 65 year old will be organized free testing for early detection of signs of dementia on 20th September.
This activity is organized on the occasion of the World Day of Alzheimer’s disease, and will be implemented in the collaboration with the “Mojom Klinikom” (My clinic).
Dementia is usually called senility. It is a gradual deterioration of intellectual abilities and the most important symptom is occurrence of difficulties in memory, especially of recent events. It also occur the changes in behavior and personality of the patient.
