Festival of paintings and music will be held in May, at the ”Gallery ’96” in Prijedor. The 7th Festival of paintings and music is scheduled for May 2013, because of technical reasons. Previous year, this festival was held traditionally in January.
” Towards the middle of May, Prijedor is celebrating its holiday and we are sure that more visitors will come to attend and work at the painting studio”- said director Ilijašević.
He also confirmed that this years’ festival will gather around ten young artists as well as students from their final faculty year and post graduates from the Academies of Fine Art in Banja Luka and Trebinje. A lot of artists from the region will also come to this festival. The director of the ”Gallery ’96” Ilijašević also announced the opening of an exhibition entitled ” Stained glass by Ognjen Levi” a Sarajevo artist and the master of the stained glass technique. This exhibition will be held on the 11th of January, 2013.
