Two members of ULUBiH, Emir Osmić and Miro Šurković, will hold the exhibition that is going to open on Friday, May 20 at 7 PM in ‘’Roman Petović’’ Gallery (Titova 54).
Art critic regarding the exhibition, Danis Fejzić (MA in graphics), says:
”The main part of Emir Osmić’s last cycle is conceived in a small form- dawning combined with paint. The line is clear, suggestive. Creative restlessness and tendency circulate through it, telling a story that has no beginning nor end. Even the author cannot perceive the ultimate achievements of his search.
Through its ”dark” side and power of its psychological effect, I can feel free to say that this ”diary” entry affects the core of what Osmić considers to be important- the conscious and subconscious of each of us. It does not leave us indifferent and makes us find a flame in our own darkness.
Miro Šurković, on the other hand, insists on questioning and values of textural, very often ruined ‘shell’ that serve as a cover for the afflicted and stamped forms; that, in author’s case have a name and a surname… He also uses an intimate approach to the ”heroes” of this earthly hell so that those hallucinogens appearances can be just a thick layers of paint on clearly defined concepts- visions.
The enformalistic approach unites with the obvious- figurative…very successfully. Famous names from the beginning of the text, are undoubtedly fellow travellers of Šurković’s creative observatory and persistent notation- extremely fruit-bearing. Miro Škorić gives a figure and a shadow to the beings of his subconscious, his night, his vigil.
We invite all citizens to visit ”Roman Petrović” Gallery and attend the opening ceremony of this unique exhibition. Entrance is free.
