General Hospital “Abdulah Nakaš” to merge with the Clinical Center?

Hospital Merger klix.baThe General Hospital “Primarius Dr. Abdulah Nakaš” will most probably be merged with the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo.

As the FB&H Government and the Sarajevo Canton Government confirmed, talks about the process of administrative merger of the General Hospital to the CCUS started yesterday. Besides the mentioned two founders, other founders as well must give their consent for this process, and those are the governments of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the Bosna Podrinje Canton, the Una-Sana Canton and the Central Bosna Canton.

Edita Kalajdžić from the Secretariat of the FB&H Government said that a work meeting was held on the topic “reform of health system in FB&H”, and the agenda included talks about fusion of several health institutions in the FB&H among which is the one between the General Hospital “Primarius Dr. Abdulah Nakaš” and the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo.

The Clinical Center University of Sarajevo has already launched procedure for registration of the newly elected acting Director General Enra Suljević, who was appointed to this position after the resignation of the Director General Rusmir Mesihović.
