The location for the construction of a solar power plant with a connected power of 100 MW in Sokolac has been defined. The value of the investment is 100 million euros.

The request for the concession was submitted by the company “Ener State”, which is registered in Sokolac and is owned by a German company.

”I am sure that this investment will attract other investments in this local community. On this occasion, I express my gratitude to the institutions of Republika Srpska (RS) and the Council of Ministers, who have been supporting the municipality of Sokolac throughout this and other projects arising from the Strategy for the Development of the Municipality – Sokolac, ” Mayor Milovan Bjelica said.

The local administration has been working on the preparation of this capital project for four years, Biznis Info reports.
