The Director of the BiH Border Police, Mirko Kuprešaković, together with his colleagues received the Commander of the Federal Police of Germany Franz Weber for a visit today, during which the donation of the SP of Germany to the Border Police was handed over.

It is a donation of special uniforms for all members of the support and control units: 137 sets of official uniforms (including shirts, t-shirts, caps, shoes, boots, gloves, etc.), 137 sets of sports equipment (bags, sneakers, sweatpants, t-shirts), 20 sets for handlers of service dogs (rubber boots, gloves, overalls) and 12 sets for steersmen (shirts, protective suits, glasses), total value 716,523 BAM.

This is another in a series of donations by the Federal Police of Germany, which continuously invests in the capacities of the Border Police, announced the Border Police of BiH.

Director Kuprešaković thanked Commander Weber for the laudable donation that will greatly help members of the Border Police in their daily activities.
At the same time, Weber pointed out that the cooperation with SP Germany has been based on a reliable and friendly approach on both sides, during which maximum capacities have been invested, both in equipment and in personnel.

“The Federal Police of Germany has been investing in the capacities of the Border Police for years, in various forms of donations, and shows an exceptional desire and willingness to transfer their valuable knowledge and experience through training for members of the Border Police, for which I once again thank and look forward to continued successful cooperation and future joint projects,” Kuprešaković pointed out.

After the meeting and handover of the donation, further modalities of cooperation and joint activities in the coming period were agreed upon.
