DSC_4878Ambassador of Germany to B&H Ulrike Knotz signed an agreement with the Music School Pavarotti in Mostar on 21 August on a donation in the amount of 49.000 KM for the support of ‘Mostar Rock School’, announced in a statement of the German Embassy to B&H.

‘Mostar Rock School’, under the motto ‘’It’s all about music’’, connects young people from all parts of the city, that in everyday lectures and ethnically mixed bands prepare concert programs. Among the teachers are members of well-known group Dubioza Kolektiv and Zoster, which also support ‘Mostar Rock School’.

Participants at the ‘Mostar Rock School’ will also have the chance to exchange opinions with musicians from the entire region.

‘Mostar Rock School’ was founded by a Dutch association ‘Musicians Without Borders’ in cooperation with local musicians and the Music Center Pavarotti and follows the model of the ‘Mitrovica Rock School’, which through joint interest for rock and pop successfully connects young Serbian and Albanian musicians in northern Kosovo.
