Gold, silver and three bronze medals for BiH karatekas in Istanbul

shotokanAt the 4th World Shotokan Karate Championship in Istanbul, representative of BiH made extraordinary results.

In the competition of 2800 competitors from 42 countries, shotokan karate team of BiH won three bronze, one silver and one gold medal.

Thirty three karatekas competed for BiH, with 6 coaches, 7 assistants and one referee. Tabaković Omer, won the gold medal, Tutnjić Šefik won the silver medal and Mujčin Aida, Džomba Amila and the team of BiH karatekas Čičak Damir, Ibraković Albin and Mandžuka Miralem won bronze medal.

Apart from the success of BiH karatekas, BiH coaches Semir Hamzić, Gaši Elmir and Omer Tabaković passed the tests for high master title- black belt 7th day, while Davor Vidović with black belt 5th day.
