Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergej Alejnik stressed during the meeting in Kampala that the bilateral relations of the two countries are good and friendly, with no open issues, and that there is a lot of room for improving economic ties, as well as cooperation in mutual interest in all relevant areas.
The interlocutors exchanged opinions on current political topics in Europe and the world, important regional issues, as well as the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between Belarus and all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, Cvijanović informed the interlocutor about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the positions of the institutions of the Republika Srpska and its representatives at the state level, it was stated in the announcement.
Cvijanović is participating in the 19th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement countries in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, as a representative of an observer country.
