The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met with the Ambassador of Hungary to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Krisztián Pósa.

The interlocutors emphasized the good bilateral relations between Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina with no open questions, and still enough space for intensifying cooperation in the fields of telecommunications, finance, energy, as well as some areas of industry that have been intensively developed in Hungary in the last ten years.

Ambassador Pósa emphasized Hungary’s extremely serious approach when it comes to the assistance it provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina, assistance that is not declarative but engaged through various forms of cooperation, starting from economic to expert-advisory.

He stated that Hungary is a country that develops its political capacity through economic potential and that it is still ready to continue to see Bosnia and Herzegovina as an important ally for the future.

“Minister Konaković expressed his gratitude to Hungary and reiterated his position that in the current political climate, Bosnia and Herzegovina should make the best possible use of the benefits that will speed up its path to the European Union, using suggestions and every form of administrative support available to it,” the Office for public relations of the MFA BiH.
