We are pleased with the current epidemiological situation, is stated in Sarajevo on Tuesday by a member of the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health and the head of the Epidemiology Service of the Federal Institute of Public Health, Sanjin Musa.

Speaking at a regular press conference, Musa pointed out that we are now in the sixth week since the first cases of coronavirus were detected, Fena news agency reports.

“The fact is that we have a transfer in community, but that it is controlled and that we do not really have the situation we wanted to avoid from the very beginning, which is this accelerated exponential increase in the number of cases,” said Musa.

He added that the increased number of confirmed cases in certain areas of the Federation indicates that there is local transmission, and therefore requires additional precautionary measures as well as additional measures to more effectively address the epidemic.
