Goražde: 100 New Jobs in Company “Emka Bosnia” Soon

The mayor of Goražde Muhamed Ramović, together with his colleauges, visited the site of the industrial zone Vitkovići where there is an ongoing construction of new production facilities for the company “EMKA Bosnia”.

The construction of these facilities, which should be completed soon, will have 100 new jobs in the beginning.

Mayor Ramović took the opportunity to announce that the municipality will support all activities, and especially those regarding new jobs and employment. According to him, municipality Goražde, in line with its policy of creating an encouraging environment and attracting local and foreign investors are ready to co-finance the activities of water connection in the facilities.

“Emka Bosnia” is a company that has already employed around 200 people in Goražde. Around 95 percent of its products are exported to European markets. The main partner of the company is the worldwide manufacturer of systems for the closure of “Emka” from Germany, who is also the majority owner.

“Emka Bosnia” produces tools for plastic injetction and non-ferrous metals, as well as products made from metal and plastic, especially in combination with metal and plastic, said Ramović.

“Emka Bosnia” produces parts for the electronics industry, auto industry and others. In the area of autoindustry this company became a partner of major car manufacturers” Toyota, BMW, Audi, Mazda, Open, Ford, Mercedes and other major global producers.

“Emka Bosnia” is one of the most successful companies in the Bosnia Podrinje Canton (BPK) Goražde and is among the largest exporters in BiH.
