Goražde will host today 9th traditional cultural manifestation ”Days of Isak Samokovlija- Sun over Drina”, which will be held in memory of one of the most famous BiH writer.

The program will start by laying the flowers in front of the bust of Isak Samokovlija near the Clinic in Goražde that bears his name, and afterwards in the Centre for Culture of Bosnian Podrinje Canton (BPK) there will be an exhibition ”Life and Work of Isak Samokovlija”.

In the small hall of the Centre, starting at 6 p.m. there will be a premier performance of Mostar Youth Theatre 1974 and newly formed Youth Theatre Goražde.

This cooperation is a sort of support for expanding the network of youth theatres in BiH but also to pay tribute to this great writer who immensely loved Goražde and the Drina River.

Part of this manifestation will be a quiz ”Life and Work of Isak Samokovlija” which will be held for pupils of primary schools and high schools.

Also, a series of other activities has been planned, which will be a fitting way to underscore the importance of the work of this famous writer.
