Gorenje: 500 Household Appliances Fixed, 300 New Appliances Donated

18. Hozić Alma - PridjelThe successful finalization of humanitarian action Gorenje Commerce Ltd. ended with the delivery of 80 new household appliances to population of Zenica and Maglaj. The humanitarian action began in early June and was realized in cooperation with the Association Help (Udruženje Pomozi). During this month, 250 000 Euros in aid was donated for the entire region. Gorenje Commerce Ltd. with authorized service Gorenje appliances participated in the free repair of more than 500 flooded Gorenje appliances. In addition, they donated 300 new appliances for families that were affected by the floods. Namely, refrigerators, washing machines and electric stoves were donated to families in Banja Luka, Doboj, Olovo, Željezno Polje, Begov Han, Nemila and Bijeljina. In the coming days, the donation of apparatus to families from Zavidovići, Odžak and Orašje is planned as well.

 

Director of Gorenje Commerce d.o.o., Uroš Marolt, pointed out that in this way, it is meant to help the population to re-establish functional life and in these very difficult times to express unity and solidarity. “Gorenje is a brand which BiH population believe to for decades and this is the least we could do to justify that trust,” said Marolt, adding that the company will continue to listen to the needs of citizens.
