Government of Federation of BiH to allocate 105 Million BAM of Subsidies to private Companies

At today’s emergency, telephone session, the Government of the Federation of BiH passed the Decision on approving the redistribution of funds provided in the FBiH Budget for 2021 from the Fund for Economic Stabilization, in the amount of 105 million BAM.

This amount will be divided between the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Klix.ba writes.

Positions for subsidies to private companies and entrepreneurs of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry by 30 million BAM, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry (incentives for agriculture) by 15 million BAM and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts by 60 million million BAM.

The decision was made in accordance with the conclusion of the Federal Government of 9.9.2021. by which these three ministries were in charge of submitting to the Federal Ministry of Finance a request for redistribution of funds in the total amount of 105 million BAM.

Today, the Government also adopted the Program for spending funds determined by the FBiH Budget for 2021 to the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry in the name of subsidies to private companies and entrepreneurs in the amount of 30 million BAM.

The goal of the Program is to preserve jobs by providing liquidity support to the most vulnerable sectors of the manufacturing industry under the jurisdiction of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry to overcome the emergencies caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in accordance with general and specific criteria.
These funds are grant funds of the Federal Ministry and will be awarded on the basis of a public call.

The program regulates the conditions for obtaining financial assistance to companies in the Federation of BiH in the circumstances of the pandemic, the manner of their insurance, purpose and procedure of allocation, general and specific conditions for allocation, beneficiaries, as well as supervision over the use of funds and reporting to the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and industry will publish the Program and the Decision on its adoption on its website.
