Government of Japan Donates Two Ambulance Vehicles to Health Care Center in Zivinice

On 12th of May 2025, Mr. AIKI Toshihiro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the presence of Mr. Hidajet Rahimic, Director of the Health Care Center in Zivinice and Mr. Began Muhic, Mayor of Zivinice City, attended the hand-over ceremony of two ambulance vehicles and medical equipment installed in the vehicles to the Health Care Center in Zivinice, held at the Health care center.

Through the program ” Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP)” , the Government of Japan granted 99,704 Euro (approx. 195,000 BAM) to the Health Care Center in Zivinice for equipping with two ambulance vehicles and medical equipment installed in the vehicles. The project is expected to contribute to the improvement of transportation service and timely provision of medical aid for more than 1,800 patients annually.

The Director of the Health Care Center in Zivinice, Mr. Hidajet Rahimic expressed his great gratitude for the donated two ambulance vehicles and medical equipment installed in the vehicles, which will lead to a significant improvement of the services that the Health Care Center provides to patients. Ambassador AIKI expressed his satisfaction that the project has been successfully completed and hopes that this assistance will be of great benefit to all the residents of Zivinice City and beyond.
