Gradacac Plum Fair nkp.ba“The final preparations for the beginning of the 42nd International fair of agriculture and food industry ‘The Plum Fair’, which is to be held in Gradacac from August 26th to 29th, have been terminated”, said the director of the Gradacac Fair Hasim Sabanovic.

Sabanovic pointed out that nearly 250 exhibitors from B&H, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Pakistan and Turkey will present their products in around 2.500 square meters of closed and around 5.000 square meters of open fair space.

“This year we managed to increase the number of exhibitors by nearly 10 percent, which is a kind of success since the fair events in B&H and the region are recording a fall in the number of exhibitors. I would specially emphasize that, to our great joy, nearly equal number of exhibitors from the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of B&H will participate at the fair this year”, said Sabanovic.

According to Sabanovic, only three or four exhibitors from the Republic of Srpska participated in last year’s fair, and there will be 65 of them this year.

“During four days of the fair, the visitors will have an opportunity to see the presentations of the latest products and services from the area of production and processing of food and drinks, agricultural mechanization, and protective equipment. A number of round tables and professional-scientific consultations will be held, as well as the presentations of the regional cooperation programs in the field of business and agriculture”, Sabanovic emphasized.

Sabanovic added that the medals for the quality of products will be awarded at the fair, and the fair contents will be followed daily by an interesting, eventful and rich cultural-entertaining program.
