Graffiti written in white paint has appeared on the bicycle path between Pale and Sarajevo.

The “4S” symbol, along with the name of war criminal Ratko Mladić, was painted on the asphalt. This was recorded on a section of the popular cycling route which leads toward Sarajevo, near Dariva, at the very beginning of the Ćiro trail.

According to a reader, the graffiti was spotted this morning in the section that belongs to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The reader called on the relevant authorities to visit the site, document the situation, and remove the inscriptions, urging a fast response to this act of vandalism.

The trail has recently become increasingly popular, with numerous cyclists, recreational users, and tourists passing through daily. Such content undoubtedly sends the wrong message.
