Grandma Ajka is celebrating her 108th Birthday

Unofficially, the municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo has the oldest resident in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nana Ajka Lokmic, who is celebrating her 108th birthday today.

Due to her age, Ajka was among the oldest people in the world on the “Gerontology Wiki” website.

On the occasion of the 108th birthday that Ajka is celebrating today with her closest ones.

Ajka Poljak has been living in Sumbulusa in the same house for the last 90 years, and was born in Bosanski Samac. She is cared for by her son, daughters and sons-in-law, and her health is pretty good. He has vision problems, but is not taking any medication. She used to be much more active, but since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, she has not left the house.
