Grbavica StadiumThe football club from Sarajevo, Zeljeznicar, got a license for UEFA competitions for the upcoming 2017/18 season.

“The first-level commission of Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) responded positively to the request of the football club Zeljeznicar, who fulfilled all the criteria, namely, administrative, sports, legal, infrastructure and finances. To be more precise, FC Zeljeznicar fulfilled all the criteria of the Licensing Rules of the Football Association of BiH,” was reported from FC Zeljeznicar.

FC Zeljeznicar has secured participation in European competitions some time ago. To recall, matches will be played at the renovated Grbavica Stadium, which also meets the criteria for meeting European matches. It will be for the first time after 13 years for Zeljeznicar to be host and play in the European competitions but on its stadium.
