Great Britain, France and Germany issued a joint statement warning Iran not to attack Israel.
“We are deeply concerned about heightened tensions in the region and united in our commitment to de-escalation and regional stability,” the statement said.
They called on Iran and its allies to refrain from attacks that would cause further tensions and jeopardize the possibility of a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Israeli prisoners.
In a statement, reported by the Times of Israel, the mentioned countries warn Iran that “it will bear responsibility for actions that threaten this opportunity for peace and stability” if it attacks Israel.
“No country or nation will benefit from further escalation of the conflict in the Middle East,” the statement concluded.
