Representatives of the BiH furniture industry MS&WOOD (Masters and Wood) visited one of the factories of the Chinese manufacturer of furniture Huari, with the aim of establishing business cooperation. The Chinese furniture manufacturer Huari has ten factories with 3.000 workers in production and disposes with its own showroom chain at over 1.000 locations throughout China.
“We represented MS&WOOD. The Chinese businessmen responded very well on the quality and design of our furniture, especially on the fact that those are the products that have been rewarded on the prestigious Furniture Fair in Cologne twice. They were especially fascinated with the fact that our furniture is included in this year’s regular exhibition of the Triennale museum of art and design in Milano. They are very interested in purchasing our products. Our Chinese friends are attracted by furniture which we produce in Fojnica, of high added value, demanding production segments and original design,” stated the Director of MS&WOOD Muhamed Pilav.
Delegation of the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, together with a group of businessmen, departed to a working visit to the People’s Republic of China. The delegation attended the Third meeting of leaders of the Southeastern Europe and China, in the city of Tangshan in the province of Hebei. Topic of this year’s meeting is “New opportunities, new spheres, new space,” and the aim is to strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between China and countries of the Southeastern Europe.
The province of Hebei has 72 million residents and about 3.2 million of them live in the city of Tangshan.
