“IT in Tourism“ Event successfully finished

IT in tourismTwo days ago, in the premises of INTERA Technological Par, “IT in tourism“ event was held, which gathered around 45 participants from the field of tourism, hospitality and IT industry. The event was organized in the cooperation with REDAH, Tourist cluster Herzegovina, with the support of the UniCredit Bank and Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the event, potential IT solutions, from young startup companies, that can be applied in the sector of tourism with the aim of better presentation of the region to tourist target groups, were presented. This was the first presentation of young startup companies and potential IT solutions in tourism to: hoteliers, restaurants, tourist organizations and tourist communities in Herzegovina.

Goran Mrvos presented the importance of IT solution for the development of tourism and hospitality, and shared his rich experience in this sector. Besides him, six startup companies that offered various services, from creating websites, mobile applications, 3D visualization etc., have been presented.
