Fans of comics will be able to enjoy in the theater these days, as on the stage of the Chamber Theatre 55 in Sarajevo will be played “Group TNT – Alan Ford”.
It is a cinematic achievement by Kokan Mladenovic, who according to text of Predrag Lucic, directed the play on the most popular comics in the former Yugoslavia. “Secret agents’ from the group TNT from the cult Italian comics this time will speak about the many issues of modern Europe.
“The cult comic “Alan Ford” left a deep mark on the generation that grew up in the former Yugoslavia through its grotesque message, and ironic and sarcastic elements. Thematisation of this “Alan Ford” and the migrant crisis, as well as the trauma of the social context in which the entire Europe is going,” said at a media presentation of achievements Director of Chamber Theatre 55, Emir Hadzihafizbegovic.
The play was created in coproduction of Chamber Theatre 55 and Koper Theatre, and the roles are played by BH and Slovenian actors, and its realization was helped by the OSCE Mission in BiH. Thus, it will be very interesting to see bilingual achievement with “mixed” cast, which will present this play to Sarajevo audience.
The roles of characters from the popular comic strip like the number 1, Alan Ford, Bob Rock, Mister Hike and others, embodied Mirsad Tuka, Armin Omerovic, Andjela Kosic, Davor Golubovic, Elma Jukovic, Rok Matek, Igor Stamulak, Ales Valic and Gorazd Zilave.
Repeated performances are scheduled for the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of November.
