Leading Businessmen from Oman to attend the Sarajevo Business Forum?

Businessmen from BiH stayed in this country in the period from February 4 to 8, within the official visit of Mayor Abdulah Skaka to Muscat, the capital city of Oman, in the organization of BBI Bank and BBI VIP Business Club.

On this occasion, businessmen from BiH attended meetings in the Chamber of Commerce of Oman, and their host was Qais Mohamed Al Yousuf, the new president of the Chamber, as well as the former president of the Chamber, Said Saleh Said Al-Kayoumi.

More than 40 representatives of leading companies from Sultanate of Oman held B2B meetings with BH businessmen on this occasion. They expressed large interest in cooperation in the field of oil and gas industry, mining, real estates, production and manufacturing industries; tourism and food industry, as well as opportunities for some joint investments.

“The Chamber of Commerce of Oman has a total of 336,000 members, and our visit attracted large attention. We presented the possibilities for investments in BiH as well as the South-East Europe region, to the members of the Chamber. We presented natural resources and development opportunities in sectors of real estate, energy, agriculture, food industry, tourism and other industries. There is a large interest of Omani investors in investing in BH economy due to the qualified workforce together with the competitive structure of costs,” said Dino Selimovic, the Director of Marketing and Communications of BBI on behalf of the BBI VIP Business Club. He also added that businessmen from the Sultanate announced their arrival at the Sarajevo Business Forum, which will be held on April 25 and 26, this year.

During the four-day visit, our businessmen attended a series of meetings with representatives of institutional investors from Oman and leading business people from the private sector.

Among others, BH economic delegation led by the BBI VIP Business Club attended the meeting with Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, the executive president of the State General Reserve Fund of Oman, who announced the arrival of representative of this fund at this year’s Sarajevo Business Forum.
