The total seasonally adjusted industrial production in B&H in October is by 1.8 percent higher than in September, or by 4 percent higher compared to the same month of the previous year, the Agency for Statistics of B&H announced.
Production of durable consumer goods in October was 6.1 percent higher than in September, non-durable consumer goods by 3.5 percent, energy by 1 percent, intermediary goods by 0.5 percent, while the production of capital products decreased by 0.7 percent.
In comparison with the same month last year, the production of durable consumer goods increased by 26.8 percent, intermediary products by 9.3 percent, non-durable consumer goods by 8.5 percent while the production of energy decreased by 3.5 percent and the production of capital products decreased by 4.7 percent.
Seasonally adjusted industrial production in October compared to September recorded an increase in manufacturing industry by 4.5 percent and in mining and quarrying by 1.3 percent, while a decrease by 5.8 percent was recorded in the production and supply of electricity and gas.
Compared to the same month last year, the industrial production in October, calendar-adjusted, recorded an increase in the sector of manufacturing industry by 8.3 percent and in mining and quarrying by 3.5 percent, while a decrease by 6.6 percent is recorded in the field of production and supply of electricity and gas.
