The Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) from the Municipality of Celic organized itself and successfully collected humanitarian aid for the victims of the earthquakes that hit the south of Turkey and Syria on Monday.

“We have collected about two and a half tons of different goods, as well as some financial support, and we will write a report about it later,” announced the Mountain Rescue Service – Station Vrazici.

Members of the Mountain Rescue Service – Station Vrazici collected funds from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Vrazici and Nahvioci with the help of activists from Nahvioci and members of the GSS.

“Our Mountain Rescue Service – Station Vrazici immediately went to Gradacac to hand over the collected funds,” said the mountain service.

Two devastating earthquakes measuring 7.7 and 7.6 on the Richter scale hit the southern parts of Turkey on Monday with the epicenter in Kahramanmaras, and numerous rescue teams are still working diligently to search for survivors.
