aidThe national football team of BiH will play the first match of the Kirin Cup against Denmark on Friday, at 9 p.m. local time.

Coach of the Dragons Mehmed Baždarević cannot count on the best players in Japan. Thus, only four players who started the match against Spain will be in competition for the selection. Those players are Sead Kolašinac, Ognjen Vranješ, Anel Hadžić and Armin Hodžić. Opportunity will be given to the players who played less or did not play at all during the last qualifications.

“We will do everything to play well and win. That is why we came. In addition to that, we want to give a chance to some players to prove themselves and be standard national team players in the future,” Baždarević said.

However, on the opposite side of the weakened Dragons will be the strongest team of Denmark, or almost the strongest, given that only the spared Nicklas Bendtner, the captain Daniel Agger and the injured Michael Krohn-Dehli will not be among the players that the coach Age Hareide counts on in the qualifications for the World Championships in Russia.

In the Danish national team are Schmeichel, Christian Eriksen, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and Simon Kjaer will wear the captain band instead of Agger.

“We forgot the failure in the playoffs for the Euro. The truth is, when I go to the beach in the summer and watch Euro, I will wish I were there, but now the only thing I think about is the Kirin Cup. We came here to win the first place,” Agger said.

The match BiH – Denmark will be played at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi and will not be broadcasted by any BiH TV station.

In the second match of the semifinals, Japan welcomes Bulgaria at 12:40 a.m. and finals and the match for the third place are scheduled for next Tuesday, June 7, at the Suita City Stadium in Osaka.
