sarajevo panoramaBiH received its first mobile application as a tourist guide, which could be found by installing ‘BiH Guide’ through Play Store or iTunes.

“The guide was created with the support of Oxfam in cooperation with Green Visions in order to promote eco-tourism in BiH’’, said project manager in Oxfam Ajna Galičić.

According to her, the guide functions in two languages (BiH and English), and except for BiH navigation, holds many known and less known points of interest in BiH, divided into the following six categories: attraction, food/drink, accommodation, events, info desk in BiH and tourist agencies.

Every point of interest is made up of brief descriptions, along with photos, websites, contacts and additional information, according to portal Indikator.ba.

Points of interest can also be saved as favorite website and are more easily available.

“The tourist guide is updated regularly, and is an ideal source of information for tourists to plan and enjoy a relaxed journey throughout BiH’’, said Galičić.

Oxfam is an international confederation of 17 organizations that make up the international movement for change, and is present in more than 90 countries throughout the world in the building of a future without poverty and injustice.

The goal of Oxfam in South East European countries, where it operates for more than 10 years, is to contribute to reducing poverty and improving the lives and conditions for people in marginalized rural areas.
