On the occasion of celebrating the Day of Universities, today on the Faculty of Civil Engineering, twenty- three PhD’s were promoted at the University of Mostar.
The rector of the University of Mostar, Vlado Majstorović greeted the attending guests and said how the ceremony of accepting the PhD diplomas denotes an award for science research, scientific ambition and achievement that sprung as result of the love towards science.
“PhD diploma does not stand only for pride, honor or a document which secures appraisal. To be a PhD stands for acceptance of a huge and permanent social responsibility, acceptance of life with responsibility of learning and sharing knowledge with your colleagues, environment, and your co-workers, with the aim of bringing welfare to your country and people”- said Majstorović
