The situation in the Middle East can get out of control because of the military conflict between the United States of America and Israel with Iran, said the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Antonio Guterres and called on the parties in the conflict to stop fighting.
“All attacks in the Middle East and beyond cause enormous suffering and damage to civilians across the region and pose a serious risk to the global economy, especially to the most vulnerable people. The situation could spiral out of control,” Guterres said.
Guterres called on the parties to the conflict to engage in serious diplomatic negotiations.
“The stakes cannot be higher,” Guterres warned.
