Hadžić in Montenegro: Adriatic-Ionian Motorway is the Most Important Project for B&H and the Region

-hadzic-u-crnoj-gori-jadranskojonska-autocesta-najvazniji-projekat-za-bih-i-regijuMinister of communication and traffic of B&H, Damir Hadžić spoke yesterday in Budva with the Minister of information society and telecommunications of Montenegro, Vujica Lazović about the future construction of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway which will pass through Montenegro and join with the highway at the Corridor 5c in B&H.

Minister Lazović thanked B&H for supporting this large project passing through Montenegro.

He pointed out that this motorway will be the infrastructural connection between Montenegro and neighbouring countries and the EU and that it should enable the opening of new work places and contribute to the development of tourism.

Minister Hadžić said to Minister Lazović that B&H will soon start to build the part of the road at the Corridor 5c from Međugorje to Čapljina where the two highways will actually connect.

“The Adriatic-Ionian motorway is the most important infrastructural project in B&H and the region. Around 110 kilometres of this highway will pass through B&H.” – said Damir Hadžić.

During his stay in Montenegro, a meeting with the Minister of traffic and maritime affairs of Montenegro, Ivan Brajović was also scheduled. – was communicated from the Ministry of communication and traffic of B&H.
