SIPAInspectors of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs located and with the help of police officers arrested F.F., citizen of the Republic of Serbia, at the territory of Sarajevo on Sunday. This person is believed to pose a threat for the national security of BiH.

A decision on expulsion with the prohibition of entering and staying at the territory of BiH in the period of five years was reached in the case of this foreign citizen, who has been placed under surveillance in the immigration center of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs.

F.F. lives in Germany and is a prominent member of the radical Salafi movement in that country.

Service for Foreigners’ Affairs is undertaking the necessary measures and actions aimed at removing F.F. from the territory of BiH, after which the arrested person will be handed over to the relevant bodies of Republika Srpska.

In the coming period, the Service will continue implementing intensified measures of control of movement and stay of foreigners in BiH and giving full contribution to the security of BiH with their operational activity, the Service stated.
