Hall of the National Theatre filled to Capacity during Christmas Concert

Christmas Concert brzevijesti.baSerb Educational and Cultural Society “Prosvjeta” organized a Christmas Concert on the eve of the most cheerful Orthodox holiday, last night at the National Theatre in Sarajevo.

This holiday event was attended by numerous prominent individuals from cultural, political and public life of B&H, as well as representatives of diplomatic corps, among whom was also the B&H Presidency member Mladen Ivanić.

Concert was opened with spiritual compositions performed by the choir “Pontanima”, which celebrates 20 years of work this year, visitors had an opportunity to hear the sound of accordion in a different and unusual arrangement, as well as to enjoy in the scenes from the ballet “Romeo and Juliet”.

Christmas ambience was also conjured by young interpreters with the verses of Milorad Popović Šapčanin and Milan Rakić.

The choir “Banjalučanke” presented itself to the Sarajevo audience with a mix of traditional ethno compositions.

President of “Prosvjeta” Savo Vlaški previously expressed satisfaction with the fact that interest in the concert does not decline with years.
