Hamas: Israel lied about what happened at the October 7th Music Festival to justify Genocide

The Palestinian group Hamas issued a statement in which they emphasized that Israeli media reports exposed the government’s lies.

“Israeli media reports that an Israeli combat helicopter opened fire on attendees of the Nova music festival on October 7th confirm that Israel has fabricated lies to justify genocide and displacement from Gaza,” Hamas said in a statement.

They added that what was published by the Israeli media confirms that the helicopter opened fire on October 7th.

“This unequivocally proves that the occupying government resorted to fabricating lies and false narratives about the events of that day,” the statement said.

Moreover, they stated that this was done “to justify the acts of killing and genocide committed by the occupying forces with the aim of displacing Palestinians from their land and homes.”

Hamas considered that the findings of the investigation undermine all official “Zionist claims and narratives, which promoted many lies, including the falsehood of killing children and cutting off their heads, which the occupation could not prove, as well as burning civilians.”, Klix.ba reports.
