At today’s meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković and the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria Alexander Schallenberg, the handover of the one-year chairmanship of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region was held, which Bosnia and Herzegovina will take over from Austria on January 1.
Schallenberg officially handed over the helm of the chairmanship to Konaković, who emphasized that the main priority of the BiH chairmanship of the EUSDR will be to accelerate the process of European integration, as well as policies towards youth, education, skills and the labor market.
The interlocutors also discussed economic cooperation, European integration and the situation in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced.
